Soft sand and warm Gulf water right outside the building. Bring a chair and stay for sunset.

Steps from the building

Watch

Look for dolphins from the beach or the balcony, or book a dolphin cruise out of John’s Pass.

From the sand, or a 10-minute drive to John’s Pass

Walk

A neighborhood park a short stroll away for a break from the sand.

About a 5-minute walk

Drive

Pirate-themed mini golf that is an easy win for kids and a good rainy-afternoon backup.

Shop

A waterfront boardwalk of shops, restaurants and boat tours in Madeira Beach, just south along Gulf Boulevard.

Park

A broad beach park with picnic areas and long stretches of shoreline, handy for a change of scenery.

Wildlife

Guests have spotted dolphins from the balcony. Boat tours from John’s Pass and Clearwater go out for a closer look.

Day trips

Indian Shores sits between two of the Gulf Coast’s best-known beach towns, so day trips are easy.

A busier, activity-packed beach town to the north with a lively pier area and plenty of dining.

Museums, waterfront parks and a walkable downtown to the south and east.

Big-city attractions and Tampa International Airport, about 40 minutes by car.
